ANNOUNCER: Welcome to the Bible Law Course Program. This is a series
of broadcasts about The Ten Commandments, not as a means to salvation, but
as a code of conduct for Christians. In these programs we will show that all
our national problems can be solved with the application of God given laws.
SPEAKER: Hello, I was watching a news cast about the picketing of an
abortion clinic. The police were beating up on the protestors and two women were
shouting in each others face. One cried, "It's murder." The other shouted, "No it's
not, it's my right."
The subject of this weeks program about The Ten Commandments has to do with
the command, thou shalt not kill and these questions about abortion.
- Is it a right or is it murder?
- Who is to decide?
- And when does life begin?
- At birth or at conception?
- Or somewhere in between?
- And what is God's opinion. If he has any?
- What does the Bible say?
To get started, let's turn to Genesis 25:23. Abraham's son was Isaac. And this
verse is about Isaacs's expectant wife Rebecca, listen;
23 And the Lord said unto her, Two nations are in thy
womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one
people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the
younger.
24 And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in
her womb.
God said, two nations were in Rebecca's womb. To God, it was not just two
fetuses, not just two unborn persons, but it was two entire nations. Now here is
Jeremiah 1, verse 5. These words are about the prophet Jeremiah while he was yet
among that class of persons called 'the unborn'.
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and
before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained
thee a prophet unto the nations.
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee. Did God wait for birth before
sanctifying Jeremiah? No, God said he even knew Jeremiah before he was formed in
the belly. Here are some fascinating verses from the Book of Psalms. Pay careful
attention as you listen. This is Psalms 139:13-18
(13) For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast
covered me in my mother's womb.
(14) I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth
right well.
(15) My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in
secret,
. . .
(16) Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book
all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as
yet there was none of them.
(17) How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O
God! How great is the sum of them.
In verse 13 God said, he had covered you in your mothers womb. In verse 14,
that we were fearfully and wonderfully made. And verse 15 says, God saw us in
the womb, He calls the womb a 'secret place'. Verse 16 said, in thy book all my
members were written.
When you build a machine or build a home, one of the first steps is to draw
up a set of plans or a blue print. Verse sixteen said that God had a blue print
and that he followed it when you were conceived in the womb, listen to these
words again;
and in thy book all my members were written.
Yes, all your members were written, a blueprint, now how about this New
Testament verse, it is Luke 1:11-14. It is about John the Baptist.
(11) And there appeared unto him an angel of the
Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.
(12) And when Zechariahs saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.
(13) But the angel said unto
him, Fear not, Zechariahs: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elizabeth shall
bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.
(14) And thou shalt have joy
and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.
"Thy wife Elizabeth shall bear thee a son." Did you notice that the angel knew
in advance, before birth, that the child would be born a boy and not a girl?
This foreknowledge of birth, whether it will be a boy or a girl, it is not just
a New Testament feature. We can turn back to the very first book in your bible
to find other examples. Listen to this verses from Genesis 16. This verse is
about the birth of Ishmael. Here the angel is speaking to Hagar, the future
mother.
Genesis 16:11 And the angel of the Lord said unto her,
Behold, thou art with child and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name
Ishmael; because the Lord hath heard thy affliction.
Thou shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; Not only did the
angel know that it was to be a boy, the angel also told her what to name him.
And here in Genesis 18 the Lord speaks to Abraham, listen;
Genesis 18:1 And the Lord appeared unto him in the
plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;
Genesis 18:10 And he said, I will certainly return unto
thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son.
And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.
The angel in Genesis 16 and the Lord himself in Genesis 18, they new that
these two unborn, even yet unconceived children, were going to be, not girls,
but boys. How did the Angel know? The angel knew because God knew. God drew up
the blue prints. And God told us about it in the book of Psalms. Now let's
listen to Psalms 22:10.
I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God
from my mother's belly.
Thou art my God from my mothers belly. How about that? Many years ago we were
sitting in a church. I was there with my young son. We were listening to a
Pastor preach a sermon on this verse. The Pastor said, "I don't remember a time
when I did not know Christ. If fact I believe that I knew him at birth."
At that time, I was to old to remember much at all about my early years, but
my son was very young, And he learned to talk at a very early age. So I leaned
over and asked, "David, is it true? Is he telling the truth? Did you know
Christ when you were born?" My young son looked up at me and answered; "Yes
dad, he is telling the truth. I have always known him." Now think back, is
Psalms 22 verse 10 true. In your heart, you know the answer.
Thou art my God from my mother's belly.
Not from conversion, Not from birth, but from conception. Many people say
that the unborn is not a person. And that, therefore, there is nothing wrong
with abortion. They say that "Thou shalt not kill" does not apply to the unborn.
Well, does the Bible make any distinction between the born and the unborn? Does
God's Law apply to one and not the other?
Here for you New Testament Christians: a New Testament answer. It's in Luke
1. These verses are about Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist, while John
was yet unborn, listen.
(Luke 1:41-44 KJV) (41) And it came to pass, that, when
Elizabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and
Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:
(42) And she spake out with a loud
voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of
thy womb.
(43) And whence is this to me, that the mother of my
Lord should come to me?
(44) For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation
sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.
In this verse the word babe is used to described the unborn fetus, Now listen
as this exact same word, the word babe, is used to describe the infant Jesus as
he lay in they manger. It is in Luke 2, where an angel is speaking to the
shepherds. Shepherds who were tending their sheep in the field, overlooking the
city of Bethlehem. Here it is,
(Luke 2:12-16 KJV) (12) And this shall be a sign unto
you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
(13) And suddenly there was with the angel a
multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
(14) Glory to God in the highest, and on earth
peace, good will toward men.
(15) And it came to pass, as the angels were gone
away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go
even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord
hath made known unto us.
(16) And they came with haste, and found Mary, and
Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.
That word translated 'babe'. It is the exact same Greek word used in both
verses. The word 'babe' is used to describe both the fetus and the young child.
To God, there is no difference between the unborn and the born. Now that we know
the status of the unborn according, not to the humanists, not according to the
liberals, and not according to the TV Talk Shows, but according God's word the
Bible. Now that we know the status of the unborn, now we can consider the status
of the Christian woman.
The Christ hating people who promote abortion believe they have this status
thing all figured out. They shout from the house tops saying, "I have a right to
privacy," and "I have a right to do as I please with my own body." And they point
an accusing finger at all who disagree saying, Who are you to impose your
morality on me?
Is there any truth in the abortionists claims? Are we imposing our morals on
them? Or, are they imposing their morals on us? How about the Christian woman?
What does the Bible say about her? The Bible says a lot about her, just as it
has a lot to say about the unborn. We will talk about that right after this
message.
ANNOUNCER: Something is terribly wrong here in America! Foreigners are
buying up our business and industry; factories are being closed. Millions who
had good jobs now struggle to make ends meet. Everything bad is on the increase
- what's wrong? What's the explanation? What are the practical solutions?
The explanation is in your Bible, but the Bible's forbidden in

SPEAKER: Thus far we have seen that life starts at conception, That
God makes no difference between the born and unborn. That God knows in advance
whether the unborn child will be a boy or a girl and in fact, he has us all
written in a book even before birth. Now the abortionists say, the woman has a
right to do as she pleases with her own body. Is that true? Here is what the
Bible says about the Christian woman; It's 1 Corinthians 6:19 Listen:
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the
Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify
God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
"Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which God gave
you, and you are not your own." The key words for the Christian are, "ye are
not your own" The Apostle Paul also said, For ye are bought with a price:
therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. It is a
fundamental doctrine of Christianity, that Jesus Christ bought us with his
blood. The blood he shed on the cross. We sing praise about it in most of our
churches.
MUSIC: Power in the Blood.
SPEAKER: And his death on the cross, that makes you Christian women
his property. And that also makes the unborn child his property. But the
abortion supporters disagree. They say, "I have a right to do as I please with my
body;" they shout in our faces, "Who are you to impose your morality on me?"
These hypocrites work day and night, they spend millions of dollars to impose
their morals on us. But they don't call it morality. They call it something
else. They call it, public policy. They say, it's the law. Well, it might be the
law, but it is not God's law. And who are they to impose a sinful life style on?
On us Christians. On you. The conflict in America is over who is going to impose
who's morals on whom.
The abortionists have morals. Christians have morals. But they don't want
Christian morals imposed upon them. But they find nothing wrong with lobbying
the legislature to make their morals the law of the land. To impose their morals
in society. To compel Christian police officers to protect abortion clinics.
While chasing Christians out of government with the battle cry, "separation of
church and state."
Is our government going to impose Satan's morals? Or are we Christians going
to stand up for Jesus, and demand that our government once again, just as it did
in the past, impose Jesus Christ's morals? Let's talk about government, and the
nature of legislation.
Both those who are for abortion, and those opposed can find common ground in,
Thou shalt not kill. Those opposed to abortion simply do not believe that
abortion is murder. The problem comes when the legislature defines the word
'kill'. Abortionists generally believes it is O.K. to terminate an unborn child.
Christians generally believe the exact opposite. Christians believe that it is
wrong to kill the unborn. And, even though the wicked deny it, both beliefs are
religious. Both are moral points of view. And these beliefs are exact opposites.
Our Congress, our Supreme Court, and our various legislatures no longer
defined abortion as killing. And therefore, according to man's law, there is no
crime inside the abortion clinic. But, since God wrote the law, "Thou shalt not
kill," then isn't it God's job to define the word kill? When a law is made,
whether by man or by God, the law is explained by means of statutes, and the
punishments for violation are specified by means of judgments. Judgments, what
are judgments?
Well, all laws have three parts. First the command, then the statute, and finally
the judgment. For example take the speeding law. The legislature says, Thou shalt not speed. But what is speeding?
The sixteen year old know it all does not have the same ideas about speed, as
does the retired businessman who lost his wife in a car accident when a
hot-roder lost control of his car. So to answer the question, what is speeding,
the legislature writes statutes.
A statute might say, thou shalt not exceed 25 miles per hour in a business
district. That would be a statute under the no speeding law. Now for the
judgment. The judgment is the punishment for violation of the law. The judgment
might be written. The speeder shall be fined five dollars for each mile over the
limit. That would be a law, a statute and judgment. The rule, the explanation, and
the penalty.
God's law is the same way. Each law has three parts. Under, "Thou shalt not
kill we have this statute." And this statute explains what God had in mind when
he said; Thou shalt not kill, This statute applies to abortion. And this verse
also contains a judgment. Here they are, it is Exodus 21:22-23, Listen:
If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her
fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely
punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay
as the judges determine. And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life
for life,
And so, this verse says, if a woman is with child, and if a person's
misconduct, causes a woman to miscarry, then he is responsible the damages. He
must pay her medical bills and any other costs. But if the child dies, then God
says, it is murder and the murderer loses his life. That's God's law, statute
and judgment. The law is, Thou shalt not kill. The stature says, wounding or
killing the unborn is the same as wounding or killing other people.
The judgment, the punishment it's the same, whether the person is born or yet
unborn. Yes, in Exodus 21:21-23 God requires capital punishment for
irresponsible conduct that results in the death of the unborn; so surely His
penalty for premeditated abortion can not be less. And that is exactly what
abortion is. Under God's law, it is premeditated murder. I'll be back after
this.

The National Defense
SPEAKER: Now, let's think about America's future. As I am speaking we
are aborting about one million six hundred thousand babies each and every year.
What does that mean to America twenty years from now? These children would have
grown up to become our Army, our Navy and our Marines; But they are dead. So, we
are losing a potential fighting force of over two thousand soldiers each and every day.
Those of you who believe, contrary to God's law, that woman should fight in
the military, you should figure a loss of over four thousand combat personnel each and
every day. We have never lost that many in any foreign war, but this is a secret
war, and we Christians are losing heavily.
We are losing an army of tens of
millions of future soldiers. (← Click here.)
And twenty years from now, when you are elderly and unable to go
to war, who will defend America? Will we have an army of retired persons? If you
do not have children, or your children do not have children, what will you have
to fight for?
Social Security
Since there will be far fewer wage earners around to support
Social Security, who is going to pay Social Security taxes so you can make ends
meet? Listen to these verses. They are Proverbs 6:16-17:
(16) These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven
are an abomination unto him:
(17) A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that
shed innocent blood,
God hates a
lying tongue and hands that shed innocent blood.
I have in my hands an article on suicide. The wicked are using their lying
tongues. They are working very hard to make suicide for the elderly and
terminally ill as popular and as acceptable as abortion. The lying tongues call
it 'death with dignity'.
'Death With Dignity'
When you are old and sick, when there are no young people to pay for your old
age, will a lying tongue ask or persuade you to end it all, for the good of
society? Will it be 'the right thing to do? That looks like the trend. First the
unborn, then the elderly. God has a way of bringing our sins back on our own
heads. Now let's see where the abortion clinic is in the Bible, Listen to Psalms
10:4
Oppression of the Poor
4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance,
will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
5 His ways are always grievous; ...
8 He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in
the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against
the poor.
The lying tongue, the shedder of innocent blood, He sitteth in the lurking
places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his
eyes are privily set against the poor. The poor. Who goes to the abortion
clinic? Very often it is the poor who believe that they can not afford another
child. The poor girl without a husband, the poor woman without health insurance.
It's about money!
The abortion costs much less than the doctor's delivery fee, let alone the
hospital costs. And the abortionists want the government to reach into your
pocket to pay the bill, but not for the rich, but for the poor. The Bible says,
"in the secret
places doth he murder the innocent: his covetous eyes are privily set against
the poor." This verse also talks about a secret place; Listen again.
In the lurking places of the villages: in the secret
places doth he murder the innocent:
The secret place. Pro-life people circulate pictures of abortion clinic
garbage cans to cries of outrage. How dare you show that picture? they scream!
The wicked want to keep that picture a secret. They don't want you to see what
goes on in 'the secret place'. A doctor made a film called The Silent Scream. It
showed just exactly what goes on in the abortion clinic. Again, outrage, how
dare this doctor show a film like that!
Are the wicked against blood and gore? No, I don't see these hypocrites
protesting horror movies. It's simply that they want to keep the goings on in
the secret place, a secret.
The abortionists oppose parental consent laws. They want the young girl to
keep the abortion a secret from her parents. The Pro-life Christians want to
talk to the girl. To tell her the truth, and make known the options; And again
the wicked are outraged. The options are to be kept secret. Even the client is
not to know the secrets of this secret place. In fact the Roe
v. Wade abortion
decision is based in part upon 'the right to privacy'.
The marks of 'the secret place' are all over the abortion clinic. The lying
tongue in the media, the lies told in the government schools and even some
liberal pulpits, they have persuaded you, it's the right thing to do, or at
least not wrong; that the fetus is not a baby, that it is your right to have an
abortion, after all 'these are the nineties'. Well they lied to you.
The wicked hate Christians. They hate Jesus Christ, and they will do all they
can to separate you from him. They try to trick and deceive you into sin.
They
do this in the hope that Jesus will turn his back on you. And while he will get
angry with us. And while he will punish us, he will not forsake us. And he does
forgive our sins. So, if you are a woman who has had an abortion and if you feel
bad about what happened, you need to know that God understands, and that he
forgives. Listen to Psalms 103:2-3
Ladies, don't let the wicked make you feel guilty for past
(forgiven) sins.
(2) Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all
his benefits:
(3) Who forgiveth all thine iniquities;
Yes, God, forgiveth all thine iniquities; all your sins. Actually, the
greatest guilt is on the heads of the liars in the media, in the schools, and on
the TV talk shows. The liars that have persuaded millions of you to have an
abortion. When you understand all of what is going on, you should feel, not
guilty, but angry, Listen to this, it is from John 10,
(27) My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they
follow me:
(28) And I give unto them eternal life; and they
shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
(29) My Father, which gave them me, is greater than
all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
The wicked can't pluck our women from his hands by persuading them to get an
abortion. And while our present government does not protect the unborn, God
does, and not even the abortionist can pluck the unborn from his hand.
And these sophisticated, arrogant, shedders of innocent blood,
these lying tongues, they have not
taken on a few protestors on the sidewalk, rather they have taken on the good
shepherd. And when Christ returns, we will get our children back. And, at that
time, I'd hate to be in the abortionist's shoes. God can play rough. He
destroyed Egypt. He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.
And right now, the hour is late, let's turn God's anger away from America. It's
time to take action, it's time to put Christianity back in government, where it
once was, and it's time to kick out the wicked. It's time to, once again, make
public office off limits to the wicked. Let's put prayer back in the schools and
put The Ten Commandments and Christianity back into our government. Let's take a
stand for Christian America, let's make America, once again, a safe place for
the unborn.
