Psalm 105
6 O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his
chosen.
7 He is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he
commanded to a thousand generations.
9 Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto
Isaac;
10 And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel
for an everlasting covenant: |
|
Genesis 17
1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD
appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God;
walk before me, and be thou perfect.
2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will
multiply thee exceedingly.
3 And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him,
saying,
4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt
be a father of many nations.
5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy
name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made
thee.
6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make
nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and
thy seed after thee in their generations for an
everlasting
covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. |
| 1. Unconditional covenant. 2. Abraham
would be the father of many nations.
3. Abraham would be the father of royalty and kings.
4. The covenant was forever.
5. God of Bible to be the God of Abraham and his descendants.
6. Applied to Abraham's descendants making descendants a
covenant people. |
|
Genesis 17
21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah
shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year. |
|
Genesis 21
12 And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be
grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy
bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto
her voice; for in Isaac
shall thy seed be called. |
| What people is named after Isaac? |
|
Genesis 22
18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be
blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. |
| What race of people have formed a
multitude of nations and has blessed the world? |
|
Genesis 32
28 And he said, Thy
name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a
prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast
prevailed.
|
| Is it possible that the descendants of
Easu or the Edomites are still trying to reclaim the birthright
by impersonation? |
|
Joshua 21
43 And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware
to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt
therein.
44 And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all
that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of
all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their
enemies into their hand.
45 There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD
had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass. |
|
Deuteronomy 32
8 When the Most High divided to the nations their
inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the
bounds of the people according to the number of the children of
Israel. |
|
2 Samuel 7
10 Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and
will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own,
and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness
afflict them any more, as beforetime, |
|
Deuteronomy 8:10
Deuteronomy 8:18
18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he
that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his
covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

|
Isaiah 43
10 Ye are my
witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have
chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I
am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be
after me.
|
| What race of people have witnessed to
others by way of missionaries, printing Bibles and so forth? |
|
Isaiah 41
8 But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen,
the seed of Abraham my friend.
Isaiah 42
18 Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.
19 Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger
that I sent? who is
blind as he that is perfect, and
blind as the
LORD's servant?

Deuteronomy 28
1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently
unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his
commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy
God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
--------------------
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake
thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
--------------------
15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto
the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his
commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day;
that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
--------------------
45 Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall
pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because
thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep
his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:
46 And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder,
and upon thy seed for ever. |
| Why did America have these blessings in
its early years and why are these curses on America today? Why
has America once revered world wide become a second rate nation? |
|
Leviticus 26
44 And yet for all that, when they be in the
land of their enemies, I
will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy
them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I
am the LORD their God. |
|
Deuteronomy 30
4 If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of
heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God
gather thee, and
from thence will he fetch thee:
5 And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which
thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do
thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.
6 And the LORD thy God will
circumcise thine
heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy
God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou
mayest live. |
|
Malachi 3
6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob
are not consumed. |
|
Hosea 1
4 And the LORD said unto him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet
a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the
house of Jehu, and will cause to cease the kingdom of the house
of Israel.
5 And it shall come to pass at that day, that I will break
the bow of Israel, in the valley of Jezreel.
6 And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And God said
unto him, Call her name Loruhamah: for I will no more have mercy
upon the house of Israel; but I will utterly take them away.
7 But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will
save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow,
nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.
8 Now when she had weaned Loruhamah, she conceived, and bare
a son.
9 Then said God, Call his name Loammi: for ye are not my people,
and I will not be your God.
10 Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the
sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it
shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto
them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye
are the sons of the living God.
11 Then shall the children of Judah and the children of
Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head,
and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the
day of Jezreel. |
| Could the fact that those of the House of
Israel were to be called the sons of God mean they were to
become Christians? Could this be what Jesus meant when he
said, "My sheep hear my voice?"
When it says the house of Judah and house of Israel were come
together under one head or leader, could the leader be Jesus
Christ, and could this be the New Covenant with the house of
Israel and house of Judah?
Could this be the bringing together of the sheep into one
fold? |
|
Jeremiah 3
8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding
Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a
bill of divorce;
yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played
the harlot also. |
|
Hosea 2
1 Say ye unto your brethren, Ammi; and to your sisters,
Ruhamah.
2 Plead with your mother, plead: for she is not my wife,
neither am I her husband: let her therefore put away her
whoredoms out of her sight, and her adulteries from between her
breasts; |
| Does the fact that the house of Israel was
divorced and the relationship with God changed mean they were no
longer the covenant people of Genesis 17? Does this mean the
unconditional covenant of this passage is now null and void? |
|
Ezekiel 20
21 Notwithstanding the children rebelled against me: they
walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do them,
which if a man do, he shall even live in them; they polluted my
sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them, to
accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.
22 Nevertheless I withdrew mine hand, and wrought for my
name's sake, that it should not be polluted in the sight of the
heathen, in whose sight I brought them forth.
23 I lifted up mine hand unto them also in the wilderness,
that I would scatter
them among the heathen, and disperse them through the countries; |
|
Deuteronomy 24
1 When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come
to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath
found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of
divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his
house.
2 And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and
be another man's wife.
3 And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of
divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of
his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be
his wife;
4 Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her
again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is
abomination before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land
to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance. |
|
2 Kings 19
1 And it came to pass, when king Hezekiah heard it, that he
rent his clothes, and covered himself with sackcloth, and went
into the house of the LORD.
2 And he sent Eliakim, which was over the household, and Shebna
the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covered with
sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.
3 And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day
of trouble, and of rebuke, and blasphemy; for the children are
come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.
4 It may be the LORD thy God will hear all the words of
Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to
reproach the living God; and will reprove the words which the
LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for
the remnant that are
left. |
| Where was 'lost' Israel in the time of
Christ? |
|
John 7
Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am,
thither ye cannot come.
35 Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go,
that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among
the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?
36 What manner of saying is this that he said, Ye shall seek
me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye
cannot come? |
|
James 1
1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,
to the twelve tribes
which are scattered
abroad, greeting. |
|
Romans 7
1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak
to them that know the
law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long
as he liveth?
2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to
her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead,
she is loosed from the law of her husband.
3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to
another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her
husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no
adulteress, though she be married to another man.
4 Wherefore, my brethren,
ye also are become dead
to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be
married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead,
that we should bring forth fruit unto God. |
|
"do them that know the law (on marriage)"
"dead to this law (of marriage)"
not
"dead to the Ten Commandments" |
| Was not God the former husband of Israel?
Was not Jesus Christ God in the flesh?
When Jesus died on the cross, was Jesus not the former
husband of Israel dying to release his bride form the marriage
contract of the law? |
